It's beginning to appear that the thrust of the impending Republican primary will be an energetic attempt to bury the MAGA movement at all levels. I for one am determined to fight to enhance and expand MAGA republicanism. One point of focus (among many) for me will be to identify and support a solid conservative Republican to run against our incumbent Republican state senator Ron Muzzall. Ron was the only Republican to vote with the Democrats to mandate critical race theory instruction (CRT) in our local schools. He alone made that action bipartisan. To me that was unpardonable. Hi Pat. I always liked Ron, but not sure of his thinking. I am sure that he doesn't favor CRT but sometimes will vote for something that he is against that he will knows will pass to get something that he wants. If this is the case, you have a point it makes the issue look bipartisan. I do think that he is not as solid as Greg was. Greg would be open about the global warming hoax where Ron would hedge on the issue. No matter I think that we are doomed. I think bad things are coming this year. We can't keep going the way our government is spending money especially with the open border polic…

Nice to hear from you. Basically, this is just my web site. This is the only part that I consider a blog. I'm not up on the terms myself, but when I setup a blog this is what I got. I consider it more a point of contact. The rest is just a web site. I update the political page daily and you can either go to www.mtnavarre.com and then go the menu or go to mtnavarre.com/politics to go directly to the page that I update articles daily.

The big mystery now: will the Republican wave we anticipate carry over into our small district here in Island-Skagit-Snohomish counties? My guess: not much since mid-term politics tends to be localized. The exception will be the Smiley-Murray race. We have competitive local races. Three republicans have strong challenges: Lesetmoe, a newcomer, against an established and well-regarded democrat, Hazelo against a popular democrat incumbent, and MacQuarrie, who sports a highly questionable personal history coupled with zero relevant experience running against a highly credible and experienced non-political democrat. We will be on the edge of our seats awaiting first results on 11/8.

I hope that I am wrong, but these are my predictions

Karen will lose. She has an uphill race that I don't think she can climb.

I think that Greg will win, but narrowly.

I am afraid that Tim will lose. He is bucking south Whidbey. Also, Janet has done a respectable job. It is just she supports the liberal agenda.

I fear that Smiley will lose in a tight race. I think it is just too hard to overcome King County and the surrounding stench. If she can get the voters out, she has a chance.

Well to my delight Joe Kent pulled it off. That's vitally important IMO as it challenges the proposition that MAGA candidates can't win in WA. With the latest attack (raid) on Trump we MAGAs are mad as hell and we aren't going to take it anymore.
